Now that you've been introduced to the world (and some history) of fashion marketing, it's time for you to do a some history research of your own. For this project you will choose any decade in the 20th century and create a timeline that chronicles the history of fashion in that decade.
You will use TimeToast or Dipity to create your timeline. You will turn in a link to your timeline into Edmodo. . Your timeline must include a minimum of 30 entries. Each entry must include a title, date, picture, and text that explains that entry.
Ideas to help you find relevant information for your timeline: Who were the key designers in that decade? What celebrities wore key designer fashion? Where fashions different among the rich and poor? How? What are some of examples of fashion from that decade? How did fashion change from the beginning to the end of the decade? What types of fabrics were popular? Did culture play a part in fashion for that decade? How? Were there any scientific breakthroughs for fabrics or textiles? Was there any avant-garde fashion? If so, what? How did the fashion trends influence pop culture?
